This year feels particularly lonely
While we are not Christians, a few years ago this holiday would have meant a nice meal for two of us. The lack of appointments on this date made good time for us as my clients will be celebrating with their own families.
The meals may be something you cooked or a poor attempt by me to start a fire and overburn food.
Today the table stands empty. No plates. No fork and spoon. No cup. It is going to be a long night.
