This is not the first incident of a woman stubbornly refusing to comply
Prior to this incident, there was a woman who became infamously known as the "sovereign" lady of Shun Fu. That particular lady, was filmed twice for refusing to wear her face mask despite being told by members of the public and even the police. She has since been charged in court and is being remanded at IMH for psychiatric evaluation.
Well, we all thought this would be the end of this foolish behaviour. I mean who would have thought there will be individuals who blatantly flout Circuit Breaker rules? $300 is a rather hefty fine to pay, especially with an impending economic slowdown due to Covid-19.
But then this other lady appeared on social media. According to media reports, she was spotted without a mask at Sun Plaza. When she was confronted, the lady did not comply but instead chose to scold those figures of authority who tried to get her to comply. Goodness me. Last I heard, she was arrested.
Let's hope all this foolish behaviour come to an end. Stay safe, stay home.
