Hidden clauses in Personal Accident plans

There are little gems hidden in plain sight

I was reading this blog post on Seedly about the "Best Personal Accident Insurance". The article dealt with personal accident insurance, and even went on to compare the plans across various insurers. My point here is not to discredit Seedly or promote any products from any specific company.

Rather, what I hope to share today is how your Personal Accident insurance plan may have interesting clauses which can benefit policy holders. For instance, there are some Personal Accident insurance plans which provide free insurance coverage for children if both parents have bought from the same insurer. As for some other plans, policy holders are entitled to make claims even for minor ailments during doctor's visit e.g. leg sprain due to sports injury.

Over the years, I realise that quite a number of clients go by their days and continue to pay for such Personal Accident plans without realising the full potential of their insurance. Please note that I am not advocating anyone reading this blog to go out there to make falsified claims or be overzealous in demanding that their insurers pay out for everything.
