Rude response from restaurant

I can understand if Covid-19 has made businesses harder, but this reply is too unprofessional

So it seems Covid-19 is not the only enemy of businesses out there. In this case, the restaurant may want to check if their customer service officer in charge of taking their phone orders needs some retraining. I received some photos showing how a friend got a shock when he received this rude reply from Yumsea Seafood Soup.


For those who don't know Yumsea Seafood Soup is located in Marsiling Mall hawker centre. From my friend's photos, he was politely asking if the restaurant made deliveries to Bukit Panjang, and also if he could place a dinner order.

Unfortunately he did not get a reply from the restaurant. When my friend tried asking the new day if the delivery is still on, the restaurant replied "Sorry we only entertain people with sense and understanding".

How was my friend being insensible and not understanding? This restaurant really needs to make some amends. It is simply unacceptable.
