When it rains, it pours.
These days, the news about voyeurs in Singapore's universities just keeps increasing. Mothership recently wrote about a third peeping tom incident in NTU in 3 WEEKS!? This is simply outrageous. I feel there is a striking lapse in security to protect girls (okay there was a guy who was filmed too).
With the ease of availability of pornography online these days, I wonder why men are still so desperate. This is to the point where they even risk their faces or jobs just to commit this silly sexual misconduct. I wonder when such perverts are caught, do they get counselling on top of jail time.
A right step forward will not only include harsher punishments (like the suggested caning), but also rehabilitation to lead offenders onto the right path again. Hopefully such measures will be a good deterrence. Guys, please refrain from doing such silly things.
